There are kid sizes available too! Elijah enjoyed his poke bowl.
I am always up for trying something new! When Aloha Poke of Costa Mesa, CA reached out to me for a collaboration, it was an easy YES! Note, poke is pronounced “POH-keh,” and it has received a lot of buzz around social media and been spotted on a lot of menus. This Hawaiian term "poke" means to slice or cut and this is referring to the delicious chunks of raw fish (typically tuna) found in your bowl.

Best Places to Eat in Orange County | Aloha Poke

I am always up for trying something new! When Aloha Poke of Costa Mesa, CA reached out to me for a collaboration, it was an easy YES! This was the perfect time to experience this food trend….poke bowls. My taste-buds have never experienced one before, has yours? Note, poke is pronounced “POH-keh,” and it has received a lot of buzz around social media and been spotted on a lot of menus.

This Hawaiian term “poke” means to slice or cut and this is referring to the delicious chunks of raw fish (typically tuna) found in your bowl. If you can’t stomach raw fish, then tofu is a definite option. The marinated fish or tuna is tossed over a bed of rice and topped with a delicious array of vegetables and sauces. I think it is something everyone must try.

Refreshing and Delicious

At Aloha Poke, you can choose between three sizes: little, big and Kahuna. Then, you can select from white or brown rice, mixed greens (low carb), or kelp noodles as your base. Now, the for fun part…the poke options. You can choose from ahi tuna, salmon, shrimp or tofu which are either marinated or naked (simple + clean). From here, the toppings go on and you can choose from their three signature topping ingredient combinations: Aloha, Crunch, or Volcano or you can pick your own toppings from their huge list.

Lastly, don’t forget about the drizzle!  This adds amazing flavor, moisture and visual appeal to your delectable poke bowl. Aloha Poke has eight sauces to choose from and my favorite are their spicy aioli, samurai, and sesame oil. Yum, yum, yum! Once, you try a poke bowl, you will keep wanting more. I don’t know why I didn’t try this sooner? I am all about things fresh, fast, and healthy! Make that date with Aloha Poke and give it a try today!
