When my friend Krissy Gimenez asked me to support the cerebral palsy awareness month through social media by following her friend Brandi Ringelman I did just that! Brandi is an amazing mother of two who shares her journey of raising her children Paisley and Austin. Austin has cerebral palsy and Brandi has documented her experiences raising her family on her blog.
I am touched by her unwavering commitment and unconditional love for her son and daughter. Her example has deepened my desire to love my own three children whole-heartedly and has increased my awareness of celebral palsy (CB). CB refers to a group of neurological disorders that appear in infancy or early childhood and permanently affect body movement, muscle coordination, and balance. To learn more click here.
It was a honor to be randomly selected to win a free photo session with Krissy. As you can see from this blog post she has this amazing ability to capture moments that are gone forever but made permanent through her gift. She has this incredible talent to evoke emotions and pull in moments that make her photography one of a kind. I think these photos will inspire you take a little trip to Niguel Botanical Gardens in Laguna Niguel, California too!
Niguel Botanical Gardens is 18 acres of tranquility (as their website boasts) and indeed I can testify that it is true! This pet-friendly park that is open everyday from sunrise to sunset which features garden worthy plants that are native to Southern California region. It is located on a hill with beautiful views of Saddleback Valley filled with trails to explore and areas to rest, meditate and relax. Okay, now back to FASHION! Nothing else screams “It is Spring Time!” than a fabulous floral pattern. Spring is one of my favorite years! Why? To me it symbolizes rebirth and renewal. In our lives, it could mean sewing new seeds of ideas and projects. Also, the spirit of Spring can help us thoughtfully assess our health and well-being.
It is a time to bloom and I feel that way when I am wearing this beautifully and vibrantly colored floral patterned maxi dress from 3 brunettes boutique that I purchased last season. I have included links below to my favorite picks that are similar to this look. The trendy purple tassel earrings were purchased from H&M.
