My daughters Emi (13), Chloe (10), and I love spending time at the beach as a family. The photos here were taken by my husband Albert at Doheney State Beach in Dana Point, CA. Spring is around the corner and we are looking forward to spending time with the surf and sand.
Packing for the beach requires a little attention if you want to be comfortable and at ease allowing you to stay much longer. We always pack sunscreen, ball cap, change of clothes, beach toys, sunnies, SNACKS, beach chairs and a beach blanket. I have always had an attraction for things unique and unexpected and I discovered the perfect beach blanket replacement!
My daughters and I love our mermaid beach blanket from Shein. It is a knit and textured comfy blanket with a scalloped design at the legs to mimic fish scales. It is absolutely beautiful! It comes in several colors like purple, light purple, and turquoise as shown here.
I love any opportunity to include my girls in my blog projects. Time together means so much to me as they seem to get taller each day! It was a blast pretending we were a mermaid family! If you have any girls of your own, nieces, or grand daughters who are obsessed with mermaids — this blanket would be the perfect gift!
