On our drive to home from visiting family in Utah we decided to make an impromptu stop in Southern Nevada in the desert! I was relieved when my family was in for the adventure because I knew they ‘knew’ it was going to be VERY HOT! We stopped outside the southern end of Las Vegas to explore a phenomenal work of land art called ‘Seven Magic Mountains’ or #7MagicMountains created by artist Ugo Rondinone. I gathered what I had in my suitcase and thoughtfully put together a desert-inspired look!
What I am Wearing:
XOXO Zip Front Demin Sheath Dress (also check out this one and this one), Cropped Demin Jacket (old, but recommend this one and this one), Michael Kors Brown Leather Belt (not available, but love this one and this one), Leather Fringe Boots (old, love this one and this one), Ray-Ban Aviators (cheaper option here), Vestal Men’s Leather Watch, Forever 21 Cut-Out Cuff (not available, but love this one and this one) and Forever 21 Gold Rings Set (not available, see this one and this one).
Ugo Rondinone is a Swiss internationally renowned artist. His mammoth contemporary creation of ‘Seven Magic Mountains’ marks his spot in the history of land art! For more information about Rondinone click here.
Watch your step because there are snakes in the area! My Asian zodiac sign is snake so I wasn’t too alarmed. Make sure to prepare yourself to handle the heat because the temperature in Ivanpah Valley reaches into the triple digits!
I love my western style fringe boots! They are an oldie but a goodie and pair well with everything (love this one too)!
I stylized my desert chic outfit with gold accessories like stacked rings (love this one) and a gold bold cuff (check out this one). The ‘Bali Cuff’ from Amrita Singh is a hot one too! Get 20% off your jewelry order with Amrita Singh with coupon code WELCOME2016.
With this desert chic look I decided to pair it with a brown leather belt that is a classic and simple way to accessorize many outfits like maxi dresses, skirts and sheath dresses. Don’t shy away from accentuating your waists’ ladies!?! This brown belt here is a good choice!

My three little explorers joining in on the fun (Emi 12, Chloe 10, and Elijah 5)!
