Ten sleeps left until Christmas 2017! Are you guys ready for this? Our family is excited because we LOVE celebrating Christmas and my eldest daughter Emi’s birthday…who was born on Christmas day! I have two events to plan, a birthday party and our family Christmas festivities. Please, wish me luck! One thing this year I am not going to break a sweat about is gift giving and I am excited to tell you why with PayPal P2P new digital holiday greetings!
I am all about minimizing stress during the holidays and PayPal P2P helps me with this goal. There is so much going on this month for all of us! Some of us are planning and hosting holiday events and work parties. Others of us are planning school and church parties for our teachers, leaders and kids we love. It is the perfect month to shower those you love and respect with your time (and a gift doesn’t hurt too!)
With all on your plate, time is limited for shopping and finding that “perfect” gift for all those on your list. There isn’t a more important time this year than now to make smart decisions with time management and your energy reserves! Am I right!?!
Gift Giving Made Easy
With PayPal P2P, you can securely send and receive money with family and friends using just a phone number or email address between PayPal accounts. Be it food for Friendsgiving, the taxi to a holiday party, or that group gift for Mom and Dad, there are many reasons to use PayPal P2P payments this holiday season.
I love the stylishly fun digital holiday greetings you can choose from to personalize your gift! PayPal’s new digital holiday greetings, co-created in partnership with Leandra Medine, founder of Man Repeller, for a personal touch every time you send! PayPal is a simple, flexible and secure payment solution. I am so grateful they incorporated this clever gift giving solution by creating digital holiday greeting cards that are both easy and quick to use.
One smart decision I continue to make for my friends and family is giving them the gift of money! I think my natural choice of money for gift giving is due to my Asian background. Money was given as gifts for birthdays, important milestones, and of course Christmas! You can go wrong with green honeys!
Give the Gift People Really Want
Holiday gifts are great, but the reality is, many of them are just going to be re-gifted or hidden in the back of a closet. Yet even though we’re all thinking it, it can be a little awkward asking for money as a gift so you can buy that bag you really want. The good news: You are not alone! PayPal’s 2017 Holiday Money Habits study found that money is the most-wanted gift for the second year in a row, and 52% of Americans wish they could ask for cash instead of traditional holiday presents this year.
So, if you’re in need of a last-minute gift or simply just don’t know what to get all of the people on your list, seize the season with PayPal’s free P2P holiday greetings so people can get what they really want this year: MONEY.
Shopping Made Easy
You can send a PayPal P2P digital greeting by simply logging into your account on PayPal.com, select Send Money, enter the recipient’s contact information, designate the amount, click the gift box, select your favorite greeting, personalize with a message, and send. The funds go right into their PayPal account; if they don’t have an account, they can quickly open one for free. This is a smart solution for stress-free and thoughtful gift giving.
Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas, Holiday Holidays, Happy Hanukkah, and Season’s Greetings (you pick your festive message)! As always, thank you for stopping by To Thine Own Style Be True and hope you visit again. What are your thoughts about PayPal P2P? Will you be using it?
