Happy Saturday! Today started with our entire family sleeping in which was so nice! Then we got ready for a photo shoot at my house with my awesome photographer Shawna Henrie of Bleudogfotography. Here is what I was working on today and can’t wait to share with you in the next few weeks: Mother’s Day campaign with Anne Klein watches, adorable stuffable bean bags from Creative QT, and an exciting design consultation with California Closets.

If you have seen my Instagram, you know that I have featured this healthy cool treat recipe there. It is a definite favorite and I wanted to be sure that my blog readers could see it too! We have made these chocolate popsicles every week.  It is the perfect healthy cool treat for my kids after coming home from school. It is so easy to make and I love that you can customized this recipe to suit your taste by adding what you love (mint extract, strawberries, cacao nibs, etc.,). This will be our go-to treats all summer long!

Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana, Yogurt Pops

My family loves my "lightened up" version of a traditional cold treat using Silk's dairy-free and lactose-free products.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice (Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk)
  • 3/4 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt (Vanilla Almond Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative)
  • 1 1/2 large bananas (use ripe bananas)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter (almond butter)
  • 1 tbsp honey (agave nectar, maple syrup)
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Freeze the popsicles until they are frozen solid

  3. Allow at least 4 hours for popsicles to freeze.
