Happy New Year!  Announcing my first post for 2017! It is so timely to discuss the ideas of getting away, resting and healing.  The last few months of 2016 have been an exciting roller coaster for all of us.  I have read your comments and chatted with you and we are all in agreement that last year even though was filled with blessings — left us exhausted, stressed, and possibly depleted.  This is the PERFECT time to incorporate self nurturing habits now that will keep us healthy and thriving all year long.

Getting away is as simple as taking the time to retreat into my room.  Taking the time to rest with a power nap and/or training myself to get to bed early reaps bountiful rewards.  Practicing this “practice” heals my body, spirit and mind. This “getting away” allows my soul to calm – find its inner peace again and restore my bodily functions to its proper form (this also includes my emotional and spiritual senses). I feel refreshed and alive when I take the time to care properly for me.

Pampering myself is one of the ways I love myself.  It also feels wonderful at the comfort of my own home – my haven. Travertine Spa Collection based in Santa Ana, California (available online) has the very best spa products to create a soothing and luxurious spa treatment at home.  Their products are crafted with natural and organic ingredients designed to balance the stresses of life. I love the aroma therapeutic benefits of each spa product. It instantly creates a healing sanctuary in my space.

Here are a few of my favorite Travertine Spa Collection products:

Steam Shower Spray: Experience your own spa steam room experience with spritzing this fragrant eucalyptus spray in your shower.

Shea Hand and Nail Cream: A little goes a long way to heal and moisture your cuticles with organic skin conditioners. A must for winter!

Linen Spray: Add romance into your bedroom by lightly spraying this fragrant scent on your pillow and sheets!  Oh, la la!

Facial Toner: Created with natural sea minerals use to restore pH balance and minimize pore size.  Can be used throughout the day to refresh your face.  This is a favorite!
