Hi Friends! My husband encouraged me to share with you some of my favorite products! And I am excited for this new blog series! Thanks babe for the suggestion! Welcome to my first post in this series called ‘Brilliant Finds!’ My first favorite item to share with you is Sur La Table’s White Marble Pastry Board! I have used it for more than just cooking too! Let me tell you about it!
Sur La Table’s White Marble Pastry Board provides the perfect surface for product photography. I used it several times in my previous post featuring my favorite green juice. My kitchen is still in its original 1980’s glory and placing the white marble pastry board on top of my ugly sand colored tile with hideous brown grout counter-top created a modern clean look I was going for!
Here’s another example of using Sur La Table’s White Marble Pastry Board in my product photography needs. To highlight my recent collaboration with Lorna Jane I placed their postcards on the marble surface for a neutral and clean look! I also use it for crafts too! My kids love the surface to trace images on paper using templates. The hard surface is perfect for that and that it is portable.
Our kitchen remodel is the next project we are planning for! I can not wait to have even surface counter-tops! In the meantime, my Sur La Table’s White Marble Pastry Board has been my trusty friend in delivering a functional flat surface to roll out dough and to roll up my family’s favorite Egg Roll Recipe! Yum! You can also purchase this white marble pastry board via Amazon.com.
Introducing the BEST HOMEMADE PRETZEL Recipe ever! It is from SomethingSwanky.com. It beats any of the pretzels you can get at the mall! I was tired of driving to the mall to satiate my pretzel cravings! Ha Ha! The kids and I love to prepare this recipe together! It is easy and so fun!!! And rolling out the dough and shaping it into the perfect pretzel shape is made possible for me with Sur La Table’s White Marble Pastry Board! P.S. The butterscotch ganache recipe is heavenly! Try it and let me know what you think!
